Janitza Opens New Branch Office in Mexico

Strategic location, robust investments, and a dynamic market: Janitza expands its presence to better serve global customers and partners in northern Latin America

Janitza Opens New Branch Office in Mexico

Janitza has officially opened a new branch in Santa Fe, Mexico City. This strategic move responds to the sustained global demand for its power measurement technologies and the unique opportunities presented by the Mexican market. “Mexico is rapidly emerging as a key strategic hub for the global energy and data center markets. Its geographic location between North and South America—combined with major investments in digital infrastructure and renewable energy—makes it an ideal site for Janitza’s expansion,” said Alexander Veidt, CFO of Janitza.

Mexico’s Growing Potential in Digital Infrastructure
For several years, Mexico has positioned itself as a dynamic hub for digital infrastructure across Latin America. New hyperscaler and colocation projects are emerging, particularly in metropolitan areas such as Querétaro and Mexico City, which benefit from a stable power supply, competitive electricity prices and government support.

The new office marks a significant milestone in Janitza’s efforts to tap into Latin America's growing market and deliver localized support to customers. Key target sectors include manufacturing, data centers, infrastructure development, and energy providers.

Branch manager with many years of expertise

Alejandro Cantú has been appointed Managing Director of Janitza’s new Mexican subsidiary. He brings extensive expertise in data centers, engineering and product management. "Entering the Mexican market is a strategic step to be closer to our customers, strengthen local partnerships, and deliver the quality and innovation Janitza is known for," says Cantú. Prior to joining Janitza, he was Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder at Layer 9 Data Centers. Prior to that, he served as Executive Vice President at LBS Technologies, Director at Power Distribution Inc. and Manager at Midtronics and VYCON.

With the new branch in Mexico, Janitza continues to accelerate its global expansion. Following offices in the U.S., Austria, Australia, the U.K., Italy, and India/Middle East, the Mexico City office becomes the company’s seventh international location. Janitza plans to further grow its global footprint this year in response to the ongoing demand for its power measurement solutions.
